NMR Analysis · Worldwide collection · Helsinki
You put the vial in a box. We do the rest.
NMR analysis, worldwide. From the vial on your bench to a signed report. We book the courier and handle the customs.
How it works
Tell us what you’re sending.
We check it and send a pro-forma invoice.
You pay. We send the label and customs documents.
Print, fold into the pouch, tape to the box, drop it at your nearest UPS point.
You receive native data and a signed report.
Shipping and customs
Wherever you are, the paperwork is ours.
We collect from anywhere UPS operates, which is almost everywhere in the world. Chile, Taiwan, New Zealand and Canada are just a few examples of the locations worlwide where we serve; the further away you are, the more this matters. Export declarations, commercial invoices, HS codes, customs clearance: all of it is prepared by us and sent to you with the label.
You print, fold, tape, and hand it over. Nothing else.
We cannot collect from countries subject to EU sanctions or export restrictions.
Method selection and structure elucidation
An unassigned peak is an unanswered question.
There is a signal in your spectrum that should not be there.
Above the identification threshold — commonly 0.1% — an impurity must be characterised, not merely detected. If you have no reference standard, chromatography cannot tell you what it is. Mass spectrometry gives you a formula rather than a structure, and two isomers weigh the same.
So which experiment answers your question? A proton spectrum may settle it. It may take an HSQC and an HMBC, a qNMR against a calibrated standard, or a 19F spectrum you had not thought to run. Choosing correctly is part of the work, and it happens before your sample reaches the magnet — not after a cycle has been spent on the wrong experiment.
The report comes back worked: peaks assigned, integrals accounted for, purity stated. Where the data cannot separate two possibilities, we say so — and we say which experiment would. For a true unknown, elucidation is a conversation, not a one-way answer. The people making those calls have published on these nuclei.
You know the chemistry that produced it. We know what the spectrum can and cannot support.
We send you the data, the reasoning, and everything behind it — the spectrum, the raw files, and a signed report with our interpretation.

Pricing
Two elements: an order fee, charged once per envelope, and a package, charged per sample.
Every price includes
DDP shipping of your sample
- • Prepaid label, both legs — collection anywhere UPS operates
- • Commercial invoice, HS code and export declaration, prepared by us
- • A photographed guide showing exactly what goes where
- • You pay nothing at the border
The full analysis
- • Deuterated solvent and NMR tube
- • The experiment run at the field the nucleus actually needs
- • Phasing, baseline and integration
- • Structural assignment by a chemist, not an automated pipeline
A signed report and native data
- • One signed document on our letterhead, ready to file
- • Native FID and processed data — the raw files, not a picture
- • Yours to reprocess, re-integrate and check
Order fee
EU / EEA: EUR 80 + VAT* · Rest of world: EUR 150. The fee is charged once per shipment, however many samples it contains.

* VAT applies to private customers in the EU and to Finnish business customers. EU businesses outside Finland with a valid VAT number, and customers outside the EU, are invoiced without it.
How the price scales
More experiments, one sample
The package covers the first run. Each further experiment on the same sample — an added 19F, 31P or 11B — is EUR 120, not the EUR 140 of a separate sample.
Several samples, one envelope
Each sample is charged at its package price. For the same experiment across several samples, volume discounts apply: −5% for 4–9 samples, −10% for 10 or more.
- High field 600 MHz and above, available on request.
- Standard field all analysis is at 400 MHz unless you request high field. 19F, 31P and 11B run at 400 MHz.
VAT
The order fee and all package prices are net. VAT is then applied to the whole invoice by customer type:
- Private customers in the EU VAT is added at the applicable rate.
- EU businesses outside Finland with a valid VAT number reverse charge, VAT at 0%. We verify the number before invoicing. Finnish business customers are invoiced with Finnish VAT.
- Customers outside the EU no VAT.

Subscription
Send samples every month? Set your own plan and save 20%.
Choose how many samples you send in a typical month. You pay for that number, quarterly and in advance, at 20% below list — and the order fee is waived on every shipment. Inside your plan you compose the work however you like: protons one month, a fluorine batch the next.
- • 20% below list on every sample, order fee waived.
- • Unused samples roll over, up to twice your monthly number.
- • Cancel or change your plan at the end of any quarter.
Subscriptions are by quotation — email contact@norrchemica.com and tell us what you need.
Invoicing and payment
Paying us costs you nothing extra.
We screen your sample, then send a pro-forma invoice. Analysis begins once payment clears. Then it is an ordinary bank transfer, in your own currency — no checkout, no card, no account.
Pay in your own currency
EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, CAD, AUD, NZD, JPY and other major currencies. Tell us which one on the form. If you do not, we invoice in EUR.
A local transfer, not an international wire
For most major currencies we hold local account details, so your payment leaves your bank as a domestic transfer. No correspondent-bank charges, no card processor, no surcharge on your invoice.
Purchase orders accepted
Send us your PO reference and we raise the pro-forma invoice against it. Nothing to register, no account to create.
Analysis is supplied against payment in advance; we issue no shipping label before payment has cleared. Prices are held for 30 days from the date of the pro-forma invoice. All prices exclude VAT. Private customers in the EU are invoiced with VAT at the applicable rate. EU business customers outside Finland with a valid, VIES-verifiable VAT number are invoiced under reverse charge at 0%; Finnish business customers are invoiced with Finnish VAT. Customers outside the EU are invoiced without VAT.
What we cannot accept
- • Explosive or radioactive material.
- • Controlled substances.
- • Drug precursors.
- • Biohazardous samples, including material of animal origin.
- • Samples of unverified legal status.
Ordinary hazard labelling does not exclude a sample — most labelled compounds, dyes included, ship without difficulty at sample quantities. We confirm transport status at screening, before any label is issued.
If you are unsure, ask before shipping.
Confidentiality
Everything you send is used for your analysis and for nothing else — never shared, never sold, never used to train anything. When a sample goes to a partner facility for acquisition, it carries an internal reference only, never your identity. Records are held in confidence and deleted once no longer needed.
