Shipping policy

NorrChemica™ ships from Helsinki, Finland. All orders are processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Tracking is provided for all shipments. Our shipping options vary based on the regulatory classification of the product ordered.

1. Shipping zones and product categories

Standard reagents and bioactives — worldwide DDP. The majority of our catalogue, including standard laboratory reagents and research biochemicals, ships worldwide. For most international destinations including the USA and Canada, we use a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service — all import duties and taxes are pre-paid and included in the final price.

Monitored bioactives — EU and UK only. Certain products in our bioactives range are subject to specific customs monitoring and import regulations. These products ship to European Union and United Kingdom destinations only. Orders placed with a shipping address outside this zone will be cancelled and refunded.

Dangerous goods — EU only. Chemicals classified as Dangerous Goods under IATA or ADR regulations ship to European Union destinations only, via fully compliant express carrier services.

2. Customs, duties, and DDP service

For all DDP-eligible shipments, we handle customs clearance and pre-pay all import duties and taxes. The price confirmed at checkout is the final price — no additional fees will be charged on delivery.

For shipments to the United States, US Customs requires an identification number (EIN for businesses, SSN for individuals) to process DDP clearance. This information is used solely for customs purposes and is handled securely.

Buyers are responsible for verifying that all products ordered are legal to import into their country. NorrChemica™ accepts no liability for orders delayed, returned, or seized by customs authorities due to local import restrictions. If an order is returned to us by customs, only the product cost will be refunded.

3. Estimated delivery times

The following are estimates only. Carrier delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control.

  • Finland: 1–3 business days
  • EU and UK: 3–6 business days
  • USA and Canada (DDP): 5–10 business days
  • Rest of world (DDP): 7–15 business days

4. General terms

Carriers. We ship via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other reliable international carriers. All shipments are fully tracked.

Address accuracy. The buyer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information. NorrChemica™ accepts no liability for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Lost or damaged shipments. If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will issue a refund or resend the order at no additional cost. For damaged shipments, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence and documentation.
