How do I place an order?
Add your product to the cart and proceed to checkout — your commercial invoice arrives by email automatically, typically within minutes. If you have special requirements (preferred invoice currency, VAT number for reverse charge, a PO reference), include them in the order notes field and your invoice is prepared personally within one business day. Alternatively, use our Request a Quote form for institutional orders or custom requirements.
When do I receive my invoice?
Typically within minutes of ordering. Your commercial invoice is emailed automatically from contact@norrchemica.com with full bank details, your payment reference, and the VAT breakdown. Orders with special requirements noted at checkout (e.g. currency, VAT ID, PO) are invoiced personally within one business day.
Do I need to open an account with NorrChemica™ to buy?
No. You can order and pay entirely as a guest — there is no registration step and no NorrChemica™ login to create. Just follow the simple workflow on our Order Directly & In Any Currency page. Orders ship within 1–2 business days of payment being received.
Do you invoice in currencies other than EUR?
Yes. We routinely issue invoices in EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, SEK, NOK, DKK, CAD, AUD, NZD, JPY, and other major currencies. Simply state your preferred currency in the order notes at checkout. If no currency is specified, we invoice in EUR.
Do you accept purchase orders from universities and research institutions?
Yes. We accept POs from accredited universities and research institutions. Submit your PO via our RFQ form or email it to contact@norrchemica.com. Standard net terms may be offered subject to approval.
How is VAT handled?
EU VAT and reverse-charge treatment are handled on the invoice where applicable. If you are an EU or UK VAT-registered business and reverse charge applies, please provide your VAT number in the order notes at checkout. If no VAT number is provided, standard applicable VAT treatment applies. Our EU VAT number is FI34319116 and our UK VAT number is GB506831791.
Does every shipment include a CoA and SDS?
Yes. Every shipment includes a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) compliant with EU CLP/GHS requirements. A commercial invoice is also included with every order. Electronic copies are available on request.
Do you ship outside the EU?
Yes. We ship worldwide for the majority of our catalogue. For most international destinations including the USA, Canada, Australia, and Japan, we offer a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service — all import duties and taxes are pre-paid and included in the final price. Certain products ship to EU and UK destinations only due to regulatory restrictions. Shipping zones are indicated on each product page.
What is your dispatch time?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. We ship from Helsinki, Finland via UPS, DHL, and FedEx with full tracking. Estimated delivery times: Finland 1–3 days, EU and UK 3–6 days, USA and Canada 5–10 days, rest of world 7–15 days.
Can you source a compound not currently in your catalogue?
Yes. Send us a CAS number and your required quantity and purity specification, and we will do our best to source and quote it for you. Contact us at contact@norrchemica.com or use our RFQ form.
